The position will require at least 8 hours of work per week. Research Assistant’s (RA) work will consist of research on higher education and higher educational institutions in Puerto Rico. The RA should have demonstrated experience producing literature reviews, internet searches, and quantitative data analysis using STATA, SAS, SPSS, or other statistics software packages. Knowledge of GIS or geographic information systems is a plus.
The RA may be asked to present their work in a variety of formats—memorandums, database entry, grant proposals, or the preparation of presentations. The RA will work with CNE staff to develop research design, analyze findings, and make recommendations for public policy.
In addition to research, the RA will also be brought into the planning and coordination of meetings and events. Assignments may include outreach, material development, logistical support, and note-taking during the meetings.

Hourly wage is based on education/experience. No benefits are provided.
