Ana I. Martelā€™s professional background is in marketing and communications. She started her career at a local advertising agency De La Cruz & Associates (DLC&A) where she worked as Group Director. Ana was responsible for supervising accounts such as Oriental Financial Group, Sears, Novus and the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau, among others. She was also part of the agencyā€™s New Business team during a period of rapid growth. Ana later joined Oriental Financial Group as Marketing Manager where she helped develop strategies for the groupā€™s multiple business divisions.
Prior to joining CNE, Ana was a volunteer for the Puerto Rico Recovery Fund and President of the Board of Directors for Colegio PuertorriqueƱo de NiƱas, Puerto Ricoā€™s only centennial all-girls school.
Ana has a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University, Ithaca N.Y.
