As CEO, Antonio Luis is leading a revolutionary expansion of the real estate business and integrating visionary property concepts and new technologies to the GFR family of assets, with a focus on growth and development. Previously, he was in charge of new business development and managed the operation of GFR business holdings in and outside of Puerto Rico.
In 2002, he joined Grupo Ferré Rangel as Vice President of Strategic Planning. He started his career in 1992 at the Puerto Rican Cement (NYSE listed-company) where he was appointed to the positions of Vice President of Operations and Strategic Planning in 1996, Executive Vice President in 1998 and President and Chief Operations Officer in 2001.
He is currently a Trustee of Baldwin School of PR and of the Luis A. Ferré Foundation. Also, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for a New Economy, Agenda Ciudadana and is the Chair of the Ferré Rangel Family Council. He has previously served as Trustee and Chair of the Sacred Heart University and as Director and Chair of Centros Sor Isolina Ferré.
Antonio Luis holds a B.S. in Natural Science, from the Sacred Heart University and an M.S. in Business Administration, from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
